Multicultural Assistant Account Executive (Seattle)

C+C Seattle is looking for a motivated, highly organized Assistant Account Executive (AAE) to join our multicultural team. This person will be a “go getter” doing everything from running logistics for outreach and events, pitching media, educating the community in the field, to assisting with social media initiatives and campaign planning.

The main functions of the position will be to support the multicultural team on their clients’ initiatives – whether it be organizing community outreach, going door-to-door, conducting research, writing website copy, loading Facebook ads, or procuring event supplies.

The ideal AAE candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working in an agency environment with some direct exposure to clients. This position will act in both support and lead roles depending on the project.

The Assistant Account Executive’s duties will include:

  • Working with C+C managers (and clients) to plan, implement and evaluate integrated multicultural marketing and PR campaigns
  • Assist in the planning and execution of successful community outreach (events, door-to-door, community outreach)
  • Working with internal account teams to meet client deadlines
  • Creating high-level reports
  • Managing production of creative projects and events (e.g., collateral materials, organizing staffing and training)
  • Working with cross-functional creative and content teams, including sub-contractors
  • Tracking and monitoring media coverage
  • Conducting secondary research on sometimes technical subject matter
  • Procuring props for client TV segments

The successful candidate will have:

  • Native fluency in Spanish and English in both verbal and written language
  • Experience or a strong interest in working on multicultural campaigns aimed at educating multicultural and multilingual communities on a variety of social issues
  • Experience in event planning and community grassroots outreach
  • Mad organizational, problem solving and multitasking chops
  • Amazing writing and translation skills
  • Prior work experience with community organizations is a plus
  • People skills, patience, flexibility and a sense of humor are a must-have
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability and love of multi-tasking
  • Ability to work in a rapidly moving environment
  • A four-year college degree
  • Flexibility – this position will require working events, sometimes on weekends

2017 Social Good Ambassadors – Community Outreach

Multiple Positions, Paid, Part-Time, Temporary

C+C is seeking dynamic and highly energetic Social Good Ambassadors (SGAs) for temporary, part-time work staffing events for high profile clients. Interviews will begin shortly for event work from March to November 2017.

SGAs will set up planned educational tables/booths at community events, and may also be part of coordinated street teams that engage and educate the public about ways to improve our world. Event hours will be part-time and may consist of weekday, weeknight and weekend shifts.

Intern (Seattle)

C+C is looking for a highly motivated, outgoing intern to assist with work on various accounts. C+C is a “good guy” public relations and social marketing firm with offices in Seattle, Portland, Boston and Washington DC. Our motto is DO GOOD WORK!

Energy Efficiency Program Brand Ambassadors – Community Outreach (Seattle)

Multiple Positions, Paid, Full-Time, Temporary

Do you have an interest in community education, outreach and a desire to do work that’s good for the environment?

Public relations and social marketing firm, C+C is looking for dynamic brand ambassadors for full-time work from early April to late November 2017. There will be a series of paid trainings for this role in March.

Brand Ambassadors will be part of a team doing on-the-ground outreach to homeowners in King, Thurston, Island and Kitsap counties engaging the public with free giveaways and education, helping them understand how they can reduce their energy consumption, and encourage them to take simple steps at home to help save energy.

Successful candidates will have:
